Class 4 were very lucky when local historian, Carolyn, from Merthyr Town library, called into talk to us about life in Methyr in the Victorian period. Carolyn brought in lots of materials from the library so that the class could explore. Among these were a range of photos of the changing landscape, portraits of local Ironmasters and maps of the surrounding area.
